Halloween cupcakes. Here's a simple spiderweb.

There are tons of different ways to frost/decorate Halloween cupcakes. Here's a simple spiderweb:

**I have found that it is so much easier for me to make these at the same time I make the Eyeball pops. With the cake pop pan that I use, I always have left over batter. Why waste it, right? A better use for the batter are these easy Halloween cupcakes.
If you are making these as a stand alone Halloween goody, just use a regular box of cake mix and follow the instructions on the box. You can dress them up inside by adding orange and black sprinkles to the batter before baking! When you're ready to frost, here's how:
How To Create A Spiderweb In Your Cupcake Frosting:
  1. Use a rubber or silicone spatula to spread 1 to 1.5 tbs of white frosting onto the cupcake (it doesn't need to be perfect)
  2. Using the black decorating gel, make three circles from small to large on the surface
  3. Starting from the center, drag the tip of a butter knife through the rings and frosting in a straight line all the way out to the edge to create the spiderweb shape. I don't use the serrated (cutting) side for this.
  4. Make about 8 lines, and this is what your result will look like.
